How we rate the coffee shops

This rating system is focused on the entire shop experience after multiple visits to each location. The ideal location have some entertainment for everyone in a quiet, relaxing nature-like environment. Making you feel that you have left the city for a Thai countryside village or tropical rain forest and of course, have amazing coffee and tea Menu choices.

1. The Atmosphere

• Quiet, relaxing and peaceful, environment 
• Positive energy / contusive to think, meditate and focus without outside interference  
• Natural-oriented feeling of being out of the city.
• Minimal distracting city noise. Natural sounds when sitting outside.  
• Soft relaxing music, not conversation impacting

2. Friendly attentive and professional staff –

• Menu and coffee knowledgeable staff

3. Quality of the coffee and teas –

• Type and variety of coffee beans, 
• Roasting equipment and process quality.
• Presentation of menu items

4. Physical comfort levels –

• Quality comfortable seating comfort
• A variety of couches, chairs, Ample seats available inside in a/c and outside on a/c
• Quality bathrooms, and bathroom supplies
• Good lighting for reading, natural feeling level of light 

 5. Private Conversation Capable

• Are the sitting areas good for private conversations, good acoustics, no echoes
• Are tables spaced part so you don’t have to hear other tables at normal speak levels.

6. Easy of access to shop –

• Hours open
• Ease and safety of Parking

7. Pricing –

• Pricing for the level of coffee, teas drinks and food presented
• It is this, an expensive medium or low cost priced shop

8. Average clientele are polite –

• Respectfulness of the visitors, are the Thai culture friendly, not annoying or interfering with other visitor’s “space”
• Reasonably quiet overall room, even when busy.

9. Laptop / Digital nomad friendly –

• Usable nearby Power outlets 
• Air conditioners and fans are quiet, cool, not impacting the atmosphere
• Tables are at appropriate levels for laptop work. Large enough for large monitors working accessories
• Wi-Fi is available.

• The shop theme has entertainment for all; men, women and children
